Day 1
GUWAHATI - Pick-up from Railway Station & straight to The Resort. Enjoy Resort activities like elephant ride, pony ride, boating, angling, swimming etc. Evening explore the Local Market. If time permits River Cruise in the mighty river Brahmaputra (river cruise depends on the river condition).

BRAHMAPUTRA: The Brahmaputra is truly an international river. Born in the glacial womb of the Kailash range of the Himalayas, south of Rake kanggyen Tso (Gun Kyud) lake in South West Tibet at an elevation of 5300 mtrs, (better known as Yarlong Tsangpo Means purifier to the Tibetans) at Zangmu. It traverses the Tibetan Autonomous Region of China, passes through the Indian States of Arunachal Pradesh and Assam, before cutting across the length of Bangladesh to meet other great Indian River, the Ganges and finally plunge into the Bay of Bengal. The total length of the river is 2800kms, out of which 1625 kms length lies in China, 918 kms in India and 337 km in Bangladesh. The name Brahmaputra means "son of Brahma" (Brahma- the creator of the earth and Putra means- Son) in Sanskrit. The average depth of river is 124 feet (38m) and maximum depth is 380 feet (120m).

GUWAHATI: The origin of the city is unknown, from the epic, puranas, and explored history it was estimated that it is one of the oldest city in Asia. There are a number of historical features in Guwahati. The Dighalipukhuri is a rectangular lake that was connected to the Brahmaputra, and was probably dug for naval reasons by the Ahoms. It is the gateway to northeastern India. The name is a combination of two words- Guwa meaning areca nut and Hat meaning market. Guwahati is the commercial nerve Centre of the Northeast. Day 2
GUWAHATI – SHILLONG (100 Kms 2.5 hrs. drive) Morning with packed breakfast visit to Maa Kamakhya Temple & drive to Shillong - en route visit: Borapani Umiam Lake, Located about 17 kms from Shillong, Umium Lake, surrounded by beautiful hills and a picturesque location is highly refreshing. It has water-sports facilities and the nearby Nehru Park has an Aviary and Orchidarium. Shillong sight-seeing like Donbosco Museum, the Cathedral Church, Ward's Lake, Lady Hydri Park etc. Evening if time permits visit local market (Police Bazar). Dinner and overnight at Shillong.

KAMAKHYA: The origin of Kamakhya is Pre–Aryan. Situated atop the Nilachal hill the foremost shrine of Assam. Kamakhya is an ancient seat of Tantric and Shakti cults of Hinduism. The original temple was destroyed by the invading Muslims in their crusade against Hindu temples and idols in the early part of 16th century. Ultimately it was restored from ruins by King Naranarayan of the Koches and rebuilt in its present form in 1565 AD. It is difficult to have even a dim idea of what the temple was like in its original structure; there is no record of it left either in inscriptions or stone relics. More

SHILLONG: Shillong was a small village until 1864, when it became the new civil station of the Khasi and Jaintia hills. It remained the summer capital of Eastern Bengal and Assam for many years. In 1874, on the formation of Assam as a Chief Commissioner’s Province, it was chosen as the capital of the new administration. An earthquake destroyed the city in 1897, necessitating its complete rebuilding. In January 1972, Shillong became the capital of the newly formed state of Meghalaya. Shillong lies on the eastern part of the state. Perched at an altitude of 1,520 meters (4,990 feet) above sea level, the city stretches for about 6 km on an elevated tract. More
Day 3
SHILLONG – CHERRAPUNJEE – GUWAHATI (220 KMS ONE WAY, 7 HRS DRIVE) - Early morning drive to Cherrapunjee. Cherrapunjee possesses some exotic waterfalls and impressive limestone caves, Mawkdok Viewpoint, Nohkalikai Falls, 7 Sister Falls, Thangkharang Park and Mawsmai Cave which is one of the 100 odd limestone caves in Meghalaya. After lunch back to Shillong en- route visit to Elephant Falls and Shillong Peak. Return to The Resort & night stay.

CHERRAPUNJEE: famed for being the wettest place in the world. It was used as the head quarter of the Khasi and the Jaintia Community but they had shifted the base from Cherrapunjee to Shillong in 1864, due to the problem that Cherrapunjee face during the monsoon season. Due to its scenic beauty it became a hot tourist destination. More

Day 4
GUWAHATI - KAZIRANGA (220 KMS 5 HRS DRIVE) - Early morning trekking inside Amchang Wildlife Sanctuary along with Rock-climbing & Bird-watching. After breakfast Guwahati sight-seeing like Umananda Temple (Shiva Temple in the middle of the mighty river Brahmaputra), Nabagraha Temple (temple of nine planets), Basistha & Balaji Temple etc. After lunch drive to Kaziranga & overnight stay.

KAZIRANGA: the National Park though regarded as the home for one horn rhino, it is also known as the abode of big five, Rhino, Elephant, Tiger, Asiatic water Buffalo, Deer. In 1985 the park is declared as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, and in 2006 the park is also declared as Tiger Project. The park got the 1st position for highest density of Tiger in India. It has more than 32 Tiger per sq kms. More
Day 5
KAZIRANGA - GUWAHATI (220 KMS 5 HRS DRIVE) - Early morning enjoy the elephant safari, after breakfast, visit Assamese Village, Craft Centre etc. After lunch Jeep Safari in one of the ranges of the park. After lunch back to Guwahati. Overnight at Guwahati.
Day 6
DEPARTURE - After breakfast Guwahati sight-seeing like Srimanta Sankardev Kalakshetra, Science Museum, State Zoo etc. Drop at the Railway Station. END OF SERVICES.
