Day 1
Guwahati - Kaziranga (220 KMS 5 hrs drive) - After arrival at Guwahati proceed to Kaziranga National Park (KNP) and check in one of the Jungle resort at Kaziranga. Evening free for leisure. Kaziranga National Park: The oldest park in Assam, Kaziranga, on the south bank of the Brahmaputra River, is world famous for its great Indian one – horned rhinoceros, of which there are plenty. Spread across 430 sq kms, it is a dazzling mosaic of dense rain forest, tall elephant grass and swathes of reeds interspersed with vast tracts of marshes and shallow pools that are a favourite haunt of this celebrity pre-historic beast. Wild elephant, hog deer and barasingha. The National Park though regarded as the home for one horn rhino, it is also known as the abode of big five, Rhino, Elephant, Tiger, Asiatic water Buffalo, Deer. In 1985 the park is declared as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, and in 2006 the park is also declared as Tiger Project. The park got the 1st position for highest density of Tiger in India. It has more than 32 Tiger per sq kms. More
Day 2
Kaziranga - Early morning enjoy the elephant safari, after breakfast visit Assamese Village, Craft Centre etc. After lunch Jeep Safari in one of the ranges of the park. Overnight at Kaziranga.
Day 3
Kaziranga - Majuli (135 KMS 2 HRS DRIVE, 1 ½ HRS FERRY RIDE) - Morning after breakfast depart by car for Majuli. En-route crossing mighty Brahmaputra River by ferry. Arrive and check in at the traditionally built cottages. Afternoon explore Majuli visiting the Satras, the birth place of Vaishnavite culture in Assam and the tribal villages. Evening visit to a nearby sand beach in Brahmaputra to witness the sunset. Dinner and overnight at the resort.(As per the availability of the room it might be at Neemati in that case we have to cross the Brahmaputra that will take another 1 ½ hrs, timing of the ferry depends on the river condition).

Majuli: Tucked in the mighty Brahmaputra, Majuli is the world's largest river island. Majuli is known the world over in academic circles for the Satras (monastery), which have preserved the Vaishnavite culture. The crops are sowed and they blossom. The people staying here know how to swim and row a boat even before they walk and talk. The island's beauty is its changing colours. More
Day 4
Majuli/Neemati – Sivasagar – Jorhat - After breakfast (Depending the stay either at Majuli, or at Neemati) drive to Sibsagar. Sibsagar sight-seeing like Ranghar, (Amphitheatre), Talatal Ghar (Palace of the King), Karenghar (Palace of the King), Borpukhuri (manmade water Reservoir), and Shiva Doul (The tallest Shiva temple in the entire north east). Over night at Jorhat.

Sibsagar: It was the capital of the Ahom who Ruled Assam for Six hundred years. The town is a Major Tourist attraction for the Historical Monuments. It is interesting to note that all the temples as well as the Palaces during the Ahom rules bears testimony to the use of locally available building materials like Bora Chaul (a sticky variety of rice grain) yolk of duck egg, black lentils and others. The grains can still be found in its original form even after hundreds of years of its construction. The literacy rate of Sibsagar is 81% compare to the all India average of 59%. More
Day 5
Jorhat - Guwahati (310 Kms 6.5 HRS DRIVE) - After Breakfast drive back to Guwahati. Late lunch at the resort. After lunch Resort activities like elephant ride, pony ride, boating, angling, swimming etc. After the activities to the city (Guwahati) and check in one of the hotel at Guwahati. If time permits visit the local market.
Day 6
Guwahati - With pack breakfast Guwahati sightseeing like Maa Kamakhya Temple, Nabagaraha Temple (Temple of nine planets), Umananda Temple (smallest river temple in the midst of the river Brahmaputra) Basistha & Balaji Temple etc. After lunch visit State Zoo, Science Museum, Srimanta Sankardev Kalakshetra, Govt. emporium for shopping etc. Evening if time permits River Cruise on the river Brahmaputra (depending on the river condition). Over night at Guwahati.

Kamakhya: The origin of Kamakhya is Pre-Aryan. Situated atop the Nilachal hill the foremost shrine of Assam. Kamakhya is an ancient seat of Tantric and Shakti cults of Hinduism. The original temple was destroyed by the invading Muslims in their crusade against Hindu temples and idols in the early part of 16th century. Ultimately it was restored from ruins by King Naranarayan of the Koches and rebuilt in its present form in 1565 AD. It is difficult to have even a dim idea of what the temple was like in its original structure; there is no record of it left either in inscriptions or stone relics. More

Guwahati: The origin of the city is unknown, from the epic, puranas, and explored history it was estimated that it is one of the oldest city in Asia. There are a number of historical features in Guwahati. The Dighalipukhuri is a rectangular lake that was connected to the Brahmaputra, and was probably dug for naval reasons by the Ahoms.
