Dibrugarh is an important town of North East Assam and North East India. It is a big centre of trade and commerce and noted for its tea, coal and oil production. The largest Salix Swamp forest in North East India Dibru Saikhowa National Park is situated at a distance of 42Kms from Dibrugarh town.
