Yumthang Valley is situated just at a distance of 25 kilometers an ideal place for angling trout, home of Shingbha Rhododendron Sanctuary with 24 species of Rhododendron and hot water spring. Lachung Monastery and the local villages are worth visiting. The village is unique in culture & tradition. Katao and Yumesamdong are rare experience one can have. There is a small Monastery in Lachung which is the centre of all religious function of locals. The valley is the home of Shingbha Rhododendron Sanctuary with 24 species of Rhododendron. A must see here are the hot springs.
