Lolaygaon

Lolaygaon / Kaffer is also a rustic hamlet on the ancient trade route to Tibet and is one of the few places in West Bengal to receive snow in winter.  At an altitude of 1850 meters in the midst towering Cypress trees is an offbeat tourist spot. Canopy Walk in the Heritage Forest is thrilling. The natural environment offer is magnificent view of Kanchendzonga and surrounding mountains. It is in the vicinity of Jelep La Pass and Neora Valley National Park. The region is still virgin and lots of birds can be spotted. Lolaygaon and Rishyap are two more tourist spot near Lolaygaon

Lolaygaon has five distinct seasons spring, summer, autumn, winter, and the monsoons. With mild summers, heavy monsoon and chilling winter and last from December to February. Maximum Temperature ranges from 22 in summer to 14 in winter
